Arlette Waldmann

Although you were so young at the time, could you understand what was going on? Could you understand why it was happening?
What was it like playing with the soldiers outside your new ajoined house?
You said in your interview "I loved being Catholic, I felt safe knowing that Jesus loved little children and took care of them." How much different do you think your life would have been if you actually were Catholic? Even during the war.
Was it hard to make so many transistions in the begining years of your life "being catholic" and then showing that you were actually jewish?
Explain how your mother and father changed there thoughts of first knowing they were Jewish, to changing to Cathlic and having to go back to Judism.
