Inglourious Basterds is a movie that portrays imperialism. This movie is based on WWII and shows the control of a Nazi group in france. Imperialism means the policy or practice of extending a state's rule over other territories and or an instance or policy of aggressive behaviour by one state against another.In the movie, the Nazi soldiers plan on taking down the entire Jewish community. One by one they go through each house, finding some hiding and some straight out in the open and demolish every single one. Some run, most are found and killed harsher then before.
Young Jewish refugee Shosanna Dreyfus just watched a Nazi group murder her entire family, she was the only one who got away without being killed. A few years later she plans her revenge. Knowing that every "high-end" nazi is going to the theater to watch the premier of a movie, she plans the perfect attack. The event catches the attention of the "Basterds" (a group of Jewish-American soldiers). With the plan in action, they persue to defeat the Nazi nation by burning down the building.
Shosanna Dreyfus "gets close" to a few soldiers just to catch a sneak peak of what they are actually doing. After all is done, her plan pulls through as she demolishes an entire theater or Nazis.
